We’re at the media drive for the new facelifted Chevrolet Colorado, where official distributor Naza Quest has revealed full specifications and equipment of the refreshed pick-up truck. Now open for booking, it will be launched next week, October 18, at a starting price of RM95,000 on-the-road without insurance.
Available in five variants, 2.5 LT manual, 2.5 LT auto, 2.5 LTZ auto, 2.8 LTZ auto and 2.8 High Country auto, the Colorado has received numerous updates, including a new front fascia design with a redesigned dual-port grille taking centre stage. New headlights (with tube-type LED daytime running lights) and a revised front bumper design have also been fitted.
The biggest changes can be found inside – completely new dashboard and door trims take inspiration from the US-market Colorado with a more horizontal arrangement, while the cabin features new soft-touch plastics as well. There’s also a revised instrument cluster with a new multi-info display showing a digital speedometer, maintenance intervals and oil life cycles. A new comfort closing feature drops the front windows slightly when the doors are opened to facilitate easier and quieter door closing by reducing resistance and noise.
